Tealy French Tips

Hi guys! Sorry for the log absence, I have found myself yet again lacking inspiration when it comes to nail art and hence not been able to create new posts for y'all. I was just going through some of my older nail art pictures when I came across some nail art that I had forgotten to post. Although it be rather simple I'm sure you will appreciate how lovely it looks. 

Polishes I used:

Duri Rejuvacote

Teal holographic franken

Illamasqua Muse

Seche Vite

I made the teal franken by mixing a green and blue jelly polish (I have forgotten the brand and polish name, sorry guys, but I made this donkeys years ago) and then added some spectraflair to it til I got the holographic effect above. I also free hand painted the french tips, it would be neater with some tape but I am far too impatient to wait for the base polish to COMPLETELY dry.

Christmas Nails - Rhinestone Christmas Tree

I have been meaning to post this mani for a week now but I have been super busy with work and working nights means my timing is always out and also that I am always tired. I actually wore this mani for 2days before I even took pictures hence why you will see some tip wear.

 I have a few more Christmas nail art posts that I want to get out before its Christmas and with only 4 days left I hope I can get them all posted. 

I decided on doing a ChristmadsTree accent using rhinestones and thought I would try one of my untried polish on the rest of the nails. Nubar Reclaim, what can I say?! Isn't it just beautiful?? It is a green linear holo polish and my pictures do it no justice at all. 

I used a few different rhinestones on this mani, the star shaped one is from a set I brought from Poundland and I am pretty sure it is still available, the rest are 2mm rhinestones which are widely available on eBay. I'm not sure if you can tell in the pictures but I also used gold caviar/microbeads in and between the green rhinestones to look like little baubles. 

This mani would've lasted a long time, and I didn't even use a topcoat, just let the polishes air dry. I would've kept them on longer if I didn't have to remove it for work.

Daiso Holographic Polish

Today I'm going to show you my favourite pale pink/salmon coloured holo polish. I brought this nearly 2 years ago from a friend in Canada and I love it. 

It is a scattered holo and as you can see from the pictures it has a pretty strong effect. I used 2 coats with no base coat and no topcoat.. (I was having a very lazy day). It dried within 10minutes. 

I believe Daiso is a Japenes drugstore...but to be honest I really don't know much about this brand at all so don't quote me on it. This doesn't have a name but instead has a number.. the number to this particular colour is 3. 

Pictures were taken with the camera flash on and my nails are longer because these picture were taken a long time ago.

Jade Hypnose

In my earlier post you saw me post Illamasqua Muse. Well whilst I was wearing that I got some nail mail which had the fabulous polish Jade Hypnose in it. Obviously I couldn't wait to try it out and I was wearing the most perfect underwear polish which meant I didn't have to wear to many layers of Hypnose.

Here is one coat of Jade Hypnose over one coat of Illamasqua Muse.  There is no sun at all here in Birmingham UK so all my picture are with a flash so you can see the lovely holo-ness!

This is way more holo in real life, my camera just could capture its awesomeness.

 Jade is a Brazilian nail polish brand and does amazing holographic and duochrome polishes. This is the first Jade I have but I have some more on my wishlist and hope to get them soon.  Jade Hypnose is a linear holographic polish from the Holografico collection along with loads of other beautiful colours. Application was really smooth and again I really loved the brush size on these.

I couldn't help tamper with it so I ended up stamping over it using Kleancolor Metallic Black and MASH plat m20.

I brought my Jade polishes from a blog sale but you can buy them from the lovely ladies at Ninja Polish for $8 plus shipping and they ship internationally which not many places do.

Color Club Revvolution Spectraflaired!! (and matching polish jewellery!!)

Today's post I'm going to show you CC Revvvolution. I have been trying to get a hold of the original of this for a long time now, each time I've brought this it always been a dud (not holo). I've finally given up hope so I though I would add some spectraflair to my bottle to make it holographic.

For those of you who don't know spectraflair comes in powder form and is usually used on cars but can be added to polish to make said polish holographic. It usually lightens/dulls the polish but I didn't see any change in Revvvolution at all. Spectraflair isn't so easy to come by but you can get it from my friend Lori who sells it HERE.

I also decided to make a ring to match this mani as I love it so much!!

I love how opaque Revvvolution is!! I only used one coat!! Application was really smooth too, I just love this polish!

It is more of a scattered holographic effect than linear. The polish looks grey in the bottle and on the nail without the flash but with the flash it looks more black, the same can be said for the ring too. 

The ring setting is gorgeous!! My sister brought the ring setting from eBay and I can't find the link, sorry guys!!
