Illamasqua Muse

I rarely do swatches of colours on their own as I find it hard not to want to spice things up and add some sort of nail art on top of it. But today I put on Illamasqua Muse and my gosh is it lovely, so lovely that I had to show you it.

It is a teal coloured crème polish, which is opaque in just one, yes ONE, coat! I used just one coat for the pictures below.

Fingerprints!! :O

Polishes I used:
OPI Nail Envy Soft and Thin
Illamasqua Muse

I love Illamasqua polishes; there brushes (along with China Glaze) are just the right size for me and make applying polish neatly easy. Some people prefer thick brushes such as OPI or Sally Hansen Insta-Dri but I prefer the thinner brushes.

The formula of this polish is great and applied like butter. I applied one coat and let it air dry and I have to say the dry time is pretty good, it was touch dry within 5 minutes with no smudges.

I love this polish and I love this brand. They are pricey at £13.50 a bottle but they are worth it. They also have some good sales on their website with some going for as little as £5, which if you ask me is an absolute steal!! So it is best to be subscribed to their newsletter to know when they are having a sale.

This has definitely made me want to try out my other Illamasqua polishes, expect some more swatches of their polishes from me soon.

Thanks for reading!!

  1. i love illamasqua polishes! i usually try to catch them on sale because it's hard for me to justify spending so much on a polish. i'm surprised that this one's a one coater--that's quite impressive! i hate when i get fingerprints on my swatch pics too, lol :<
