Flower Dotting Tool Nail Art

Today I have some nail art which I did using just a dotting tool and the brushes from the bottle of polish. I was in the mood for some nail art and had nothing to hand apart from a dotting tool, which was a bummer as me and the dotting tool aren't exactly best friends. But regardless I decided to soldier on and do something pretty and considering I hate usng the dotting tool i think it came out rather well.

Here is what I came up with...

Polishes I used:
Duri Rejuvacote
Nails Inc Cardagon Place
Zoya Moxie
Nails Inc Hampstead Gardens
Seche Vite

I also used:
A dotting tool

I did the flowers using a dotting tool and dragged in dots to form petals. For the french tips I used the brush from Zoya Moxie. The french tip didn't have to be too perfect because the dots cover most of line.

This feels very summery to me and here is England it is anything but sunny, I may have to redo this when the sun finally decides to come out!

Nails Inc Stamping and Double Accent

I have been looking for Nails Inc Hampstead Gardens for a while and finally it is in my possession!
It is the perfect honey mustard colour and like nearly all Nails Inc creme polishes a one coater.

I thought I would christen it with some stamping and a double accent but instead of going for the ring finger and thumb I went for the ring finger and the pinky.

Lets have a look at what it turned out like...

Polishes I used:
Duri Rejuvacote
Nails Inc Hampstead Gardens
Nails Inc Black Taxi
Essie Good To Go Topcoat

I also used:
Gold coloured 2mm rhinestones (2 for each accent finger)
Red Angel Plates RA 112

The stamping came out a little rough, my scraper has gone all wonky donkey on me and would scrape off properly, I tried to use my new XL stamper and scraper which I got recently but I still gotta figure out how to use these properly, I think the stamper needs filing or something.

Over all though I am happy with how this looks! And glad I finally got Hamsptead Gardens. Shame I have a night shift and had to take it off the same day.

Barry M Glitter Gradient

Today I have a simple and easy to do glitter gradient using Barry M polishes. No nail art tools needs I just used the brushes that come with the polish to place the glitters on. And that is literally all there is to it.

Onto the picture...

Polishes I used:
Duri Rejuvacote
Barry M Gelly Blue Plum
Barry M Rose Quartz Glitter
Essie Good To Go Topcoat

I love that this easy, simple and elegant. I chose Rose Quartz Glitter because of the 2 different size glitters in it but this would look great even with just one size glitters.

Red Nose Day Nail Art

I haven't been blogging much lately coz I've been so busy and a little uninspired.
I have so many ideas but never get around to doing them.. or sometimes the idea is amazing in my head but turns out meh... and sometimes the mani is amazing but I never get around to taking a good picture and then BAM! I chip a nail! So really its a combination of things.

I put my foot down this time. I did the mani late last night cleared my light box and made sure I got a few pics of my mani. The pictures aren't perfect but my little kitty Draco was attack my feet so I think I did really well considering!

Anyways, enough babbling from me onto the nails!

I wasn't going to do any nail art for this but my 6 year old cousin was crying because she never got a red nose this year, so I created one on her nails for her! :-D
Then I went crazy on my own nails aswell.

Polishes I used:
Duri Rejuvacote
No.7 Devils Delight
Barry M Matte White
Black Nail Art Pen
Essie Good To Go Topcoat

That is it for today, thanks for reading!!

P.S. what do you think of my new nail shape? I miss my square nails but they chip on the edges so bad I had to go for this.

Daiso Holographic Polish

Today I'm going to show you my favourite pale pink/salmon coloured holo polish. I brought this nearly 2 years ago from a friend in Canada and I love it.

It is a scattered holo and as you can see from the pictures it has a pretty strong effect. I used 2 coats with no base coat and no topcoat.. (I was having a very lazy day). It dried within 10minutes.

I believe Daiso is a Japenes drugstore...but to be honest I really don't know much about this brand at all so don't quote me on it. This doesn't have a name but instead has a number.. the number to this particular colour is 3.

Pictures were taken with the camera flash on and my nails are longer because these picture were taken a long time ago.

 On to the pictures...

L'oreal Mysterious Icon 805

L'Oreal Mysterious Icon is a brownish/greyish/purplish polish with a gold shimmer. It is totally unlike any other polish I own in my stash and I have to say I am in love with this shade!!

The L'Oreal Color Riche polishes are very small with only 5ml of polish but they have super wide brushes and I'm surprised to say I actually liked these. I'm usually more of a thin brush kinda girl but these made application super easy!

I have on 2 coats of L'Oreal Mysterious Icon on top of 1 coat of Rejuvacote. I didn't end up using any top coat beacuse this dried very quickly. Only down side to these are they cost £4.99 for only 5ml.

On to the picture...

Macro shot
I really am like L'Oreal polishes at the moment and I have to say their formula is really good. If the price is too much you could always wait until there is a 3 for 2 offer on at Superdrugs or Boots.

Revlon Emerald City

Today's post I am showing a matte polish from Revlon called Emerald City.
It is a emerald green colour with a shimmer and drys matte. I found the formula really easy to work with ad there wast much dragging which matte polishes have a tendency of doing. The matte finish isn't as strong as I expected but this still looked lovely and I really liked how it looked.

The finish reminds me of Manglaze polishes ad makes me wonder how close it is to Nawesome Sauce... unfortunately I don't have that so I can't do a comparison.

Lets take a look at the pictures...

With one coat of Seche Vite
Thanks for reaading!!
